We got down and dirty in Oceanside with Midnight Jack Brewing to learn what it takes to make great tasting beer.
We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but we knew we were in for a long day when Midnight Jack told us to be ready at 6 am.
We slaved hard to bring you 3 classic beers:
1. La Buena Vida IPA
2. Sin Nombre Stout
3. D.T Till Infinity Blonde
Now we can sit back and appreciate a great beer even more knowing all the hard work and patience that goes into brewing it.
Want a taste? Come try them!

Let us share the 3 step beer-making process with you!
1. Mash. A process in which grains are steeped In hot water to activate the enzymes in the grains and release all the sugars; thus creating wort.
2. Boil. The wort is boiled for roughly an hour, and the other ingredients, like hops, are added.. Hops add bitterness and aroma to the beer, but also act as a preservative.
3. Ferment. Fermentation occurs when yeast is added to the cooled wort after the boil. Essentially, the yeast eats all the sugars and then turns it into alcohol. After a few weeks, the beer is ready to be poured into a serving vessel and property carbonated
